  i was reading through some of you guys old postings and i was laughing so hard.

  some of you guys still believe the strange things your mom and dad said but didnt explain like not eating count chocula cereal.

  didnt ever occur to you that maybe your parents thought that keeping you away from something as simple as a cartoon dracula might be in your best interests?

  keep a garlic wreath around the count chocula box, to keep the dark powers at bay,

  best known vampire repelant, works better than crucifixes. . .

  dont have any advise on how to keep leprechauns at bay so avoid the lucky charms!!!

  silly vampires. . .trix are for kids

  jesus was killed on a wooden cross, iron spikes driven into him
  vampires fear crosses, and have an aversion to being impaled by wood
  (but then again everyone has this fear of being impaled and some of us have come to fear the cult like activity symbolized by the cross)

  jesus rose from the dead---became immortal
  vampires are inmortal after rising from the dead
  (granted they must drink the blood first)

  jesus brought people back from the dead
  vampires share their inmortality if they chose

  jesus told us:
  (and you can witness this in a roman catholic mass)
  "take this all of you and eat it this for this is my body
  the body of the new and everlasting covenant. . .
  take this cup and drink for this is my blood
  which will be shed for you and for all
  so that sins may be forgiven
  do this in memory of me"

  then the church memebers go on to do this
  they drink and they eat his body and blood
  
  vampires drink blood and sometimes eat bodies thus following the commandment

  coincidence?

  this is an interesting tid bit. . .

  a difference between the roman catholics and the greek orthodox when it comes down to an exumed corpse is
  in roman catholic belief---if the corpse has not begun to decompose they consider it a saint
  in greek orthodox---if the corpse has not decomposed they consider it to be a vampire, thus beheading it and driving a stake through its heart and then burning the remains

  i think that this suposed protection was there to avoid future 'cereal killers'

  by the way i know boo-berry was out of the question for being a spirit
  but what about franken-berry the creation of science and strawberries
  was this perversion blasphemy in the eyes of god

  by the way there was also the ever hard to find version of the were-wolf the fourth in this chain of cereal spooks if anyone remebers his name and the flavor of the cereal please share

  well it was time again for me to take my weekly dose of apostate faeces and see what it tastes like.

  decided to check out randy watters this time (we all love him here) and his little testimony on freeminds.org, titled "what happened at bethel in 1980?

  1. taxes---
  this one is self explanatory

  2. jury duty---
  as annoying as it may be,
  this is a service that is expected from all citizens that reap the benefits of a community,
  it is a way of giving back to ceasar

  3. voting---
  this is a right we have in the USA and using this right to better the community we live in would not be looked down on by god, believe it or not there are programs in the "world" that help those in need,
  and by using this mean,
  as a democracy we have a say to where our TAXES should go and where we would like our representatives to stand on certain issues,
  this is a way of loving our neighbor

  4. armed forces---
  registering and partaking if duty calls, is expected of citizens when they reach the age of 18.
  though i am a pacifist and do not condone war,
  it is a requirement of the law,
  the bible speaks of the hebrews going to war all the time.
  war is war,
  bloodshed is bloodshed
  regardless any excuse you can formulate,
  this is a touchy issue but it is a requirement none the less
  and Jesus said to obey

  5. respecting the flag of your nation---
  respect seems to be an issue with you Stilladub,
  it is not a rag,
  it is a symbol of what the country you live in stands for ,
  it is not worship to show respect,
  and by calling it a rag it shows that you lack it,
  not everyone is as fortunate to live in a nation that gives us freedoms like the ones we have here in the USA ,
  that you seem to be taking for granted,
  you can go door to door freely because of our constitution, dude.
  men died to give us some inaliable rights.
  freedom of religion and
  freedom of speech are 2 of these,
  these are some of the things that we learn in school,
  when we get an education. . .

  i am writing this to inform the people of chilliwack of a plague that seems to affect well-groomed, articulate individuals living in our fair city.. many months ago we posted a sign on our front door that says "no soliciting' due to the fact that the sanctity of our home was constantly being invaded by individuals seeking to save us, sell us something or wanting money or some kind of donation.

  jehovah's witnesses constitute a cancer on the body of humanity, on the human family.

  as such, it should be ripped out root and branch and destroyed.

  i just read this post in another thread, and it made a question come up in my mind.

  1. i believe our primary concern should be healing ourselves first and dismissing the org. for the moment. . .
  education.
  this is the key to our own personal healing and mental well-being,
  the more we educate ourselves the stronger we become, mentally and spiritually
  we cannot get back lost time but we can control our future. . .
  we spent too much time 'helping' others while losing ourselves.

  it may sound selfish, but because our lives were torn for many years and because some of us are still under going the currents of what we once endured, the only way to be of any help to anyone, i believe is to help ourselves first, the rest WILL follow

  5. perhaps after the older generations pass on, the grip may loosen, taking with some of the rigid traditions they held, thus enabling reform, and causing them to have to modify some of the doctrines, as done in the past

  could you tell me why society has stopped selling parking tickets for the conventions or distric assemblies?

  we used to have to pay for the parking ticket in advance, it saved time when arriving at the convention, there were usually two lines one for tickets and one without.
  it was an option we were given. it was a way of showing that we were aligned with the societies guidance and testimony of where we were spending our weekend when parked at the hotel. kind of a way to spread the word. . .
  anyways this info is valid up until the early 90's currently i still dont know what the story is
